The song “Escape Route” by Hamburg prog rockers Deafcon5 describes the longing for an exit from the established life with all its constancy and security and is part of the new concept album “Exit To Insight” which will be released in June 2024. Apparently following its own rules, an unconventional musical realisation of the story has been created. An extended intro followed by pounding dynamics and a menacing downtuning part create a lively atmosphere that finally dissolves with instrumental finesse.

In 2023, the fourth studio album was produced with a lot of passion and attention to detail at the Tonbau43 studio in Hamburg. Prog mastermind Simone Mularoni from the Domination Studio in San Marino took over the mixing and mastering in February 2024, as with the predecessor F.E.E.L. Distribution and promotion are handled by Fastball-Music.
