CINDER – release “The Machine” album via Art Is War Records on August 9, 2019 #cinder
A true hard rock band. Melodically aggressive vocals, intelligent song writing, and a musicianship skill matched only by the passion behind it.
Originally named Jesus Gun, Cinder hails from the Southwest Florida region and the 1990’s rock club circuit it was formed in.
In 2001 they were signed to Geffen/Interscope records for the album Break Your Silence with big league producers; Jay Baumgardner(Incubus, Buckcherry, Evanescence, Seether), John Kurzweg(Creed, Godsmack, Puddle of Mudd), and Scott Weiland(Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver).
The single Soul Creation became an MTV video, climbed the charts to top 20 billboard magazine, and was featured on multiple video games (NHL 2004, MX Unleashed 2003 and Downhill Domination PS2).
Cinder’s tour history started with support for a national Creed stadium tour with co-supports Sevendust, 30 Seconds to Mars, Shinedown, Saliva and 12 Stones. Followed by a Support for Sevendust on a club tour and major festivals with Staind, Papa Roach and Chevelle.
Unfortunately, the Break Your Silence album was never released due to a label merge the band was dropped from the label.
Cinder released the album House Full of No Trust on Rock Ridge Records in 2005. Followed by the E.P. You in 2010, including the re-record of the single Soul Creation, with producer Matt Laplant (Nonpoint).
CINDER NOW… Original members Roger Young and Brian Colbert are joined with bassist Steve Reich, former Nixon’s guitarist Scott Bush, and new guitar player James Wilder.
