Biography: Traditional heavy metal – that’s what Blackslash stand for.
Founded in the Black Forest, Germany, the five guys around band founder Alec Trojan (bass) have been riding the New Of Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal since 2007, conquering the stages of Germany and Europe. They have already shared the stage with the likes of Blue Öyster Cult and Axel Rudi Pell, so they are no longer just a tip for insiders. With influences from bands such as Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden and Riot, Blackslash move somewhere between the modesty of the English working class and the bombast of American show giants. The fact that Blackslash is not about smooth-edged pop music is approved by their fans since the release of their “Blackslash EP” in 2011. The rough and edgy Heavy-Metal disc seemed to have had the finger right on the pulse and touched the nerve of the bored lunatics and winos of southern Germany. After releasing the highly acclaimed albums “Sinister Lightning”, “Lightning Strikes Again” and “No Steel No Future” they succeeded in becoming one of the most charismatic Heavy Metal act in Germany. Now, 3 years later, it’s time for the new full-length album “Heroes, Saints & Fools” – on CD, LP (in different versions) and on all streaming platforms. You can hear these 3-singles before the official release date of the album: the album-title song „No Steel No Future“, “The Watcher” and the hymn to Japan’s most rowdy city “東京 (Tokyo)” on Spotify and all other streaming platforms.
