“Carousel Of Emotions” is the first album by the band Alpha Souls. The initial idea was to record a powerful melodic rock album that packed a punch, an album that would leave a remarkable, positive lasting impression on the fans of the genre. As they say, we don’t know whether we’ve achieved the goal we were aiming for, but we certainly hope so. The album was mixed and mastered by the guitar player Carlos Arcay, a skilled musician who ended up delivering in spades, considering the material he was working with, and the budget of the band. There’s always room for improvement, and that’s what’s gonna happen if they ever record another album together.

BIO:
Alpha Souls is a melodic rock project put together by Ricardo Walls and Hector Fontes, along with the Greek singer Manos Fatsis. After years of hiatus, without having done anything worth mentioning musically speaking, and being aware of Ricardo Walls’ potential as a songwriter and guitar player, Hector approached him with the idea of recording an album that should have been recorded years ago. He quickly warmed up to that idea, and a bunch of songs were written.

Once Ricardo Walls had written the songs for this first album of the band, the next logical step was to find a suitable singer who could really support this first effort, and do justice to the songs in a professional way – just what they were looking for. Putting their best foot forward, for this task the session singer Manos Fatsis (Odyssey Desperado, Hideaway) was their best choice, and the journey of putting the final touches on all the songs could finally start. Manos played an unquestionable important role.

In the meantime, Borja Lopez (Bass) and Manuel Delgado (Drums) joined the band too. Hector Fontes was the executive producer of the album. They’ve put their hearts and souls in those songs. It’s an album for the fans of the genre, for you. It’s too early to tell, but rumour has it that there might even be another chapter, another album – and if that ever happens, they want you to be there writing that chapter with them.
