The heavy metal band Against Evil, originating from the coastal city of Visakhapatnam (India), was founded in 2014.

Combining traditional heavy metal songwriting with a modern sound, the band’s music is best described as “Fist pumping, bone crushing, adrenaline inducing heavy metal!” describe.

With an EP and two critically acclaimed albums (Fatal Assault – 2015, All Hail the King – 2018,

End of the Line – 2021), the band has gained a solid following worldwide among fans of traditional heavy metal, power metal and thrash metal, which also led to two successful European tours.

The band will release their highly anticipated new album entitled “Give ‘Em Hell” on July 12th via Doc Gator Records in Europe and independently for the rest of the world, followed by another European tour in August-September.

 

ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM – GIVE ‘EM HELL (QUOTE FROM SHASANK)

“ Songwriting for the album began sometime in June 2023 when we returned from our second successful European tour. We only had an idea for one song and had to write the rest from scratch, but since we were pretty pumped up thanks to the great response we received during the tour, the rest of the songs came together pretty quickly and we completed the writing process in December.

As far as songwriting goes, the approach was the same as always and we didn’t consciously do anything different or try to reinvent the wheel!

Our approach has always been to keep it simple and write songs that give us the same feeling and excitement we get when listening to our favorite heavy metal bands like Judas Priest or Accept, to name a few. We are very happy with the end result and hope you like it as much as we do.

All songs were produced, written and recorded by us, together with our dream team Andrej (All Things Rotten), who took care of the artwork, and Simone Mularoni (Domination Studio), who was responsible for mixing and mastering. We’ve been working with both of them since our first album.

The album will be released on July 12th via Doc Gator Records in Europe and independently for the rest of the world.”
