Here are some details for the forthcoming Acid Age album on Distortion Project Records. “Perilous Compulsion” (the bands 4th full-length album) will see its worldwide release across all physical and digital formats on Friday 28th March 2024. Fresh from their scintillating performance on the Sophie stage at Bloodstock Festival this year, the band are in a take-no-prisoners kinda mood.

This album delivers 7 tracks of fresh, authentic thrash with a psychedelic twist, making Acid Age one of the most interesting and innovative metal bands of the current age. The artwork was done by DarkSide Art and is based on an original concept by the band

“This is a psychedelic symphony of savage proportions. We truly believe Perilous Compulsion is totally original sounding and unlike anything you have heard before, yes the album has progressed within the thrash genre without radically altering it. That’s why we are so proud of it. We can do no better and it is my hope that in 20 years time it will be thought of as a classic”
