ACCEPT – MEGADETH – SAXON – watch all 3 bands’ full set in pro shot TV quality video from HELLFEST 2024 via Arte Concert #hellfest #hellfest2024 #accept #megadeth #saxon #heavymetal
Figureheads of the NWOBHM movement, veterans Saxon are coming to Hellfest to demonstrate (if it was necessary) that they still have some left in the tank. Hold on tight! If heavy metal musicians wear long hair, jeans, leather and chains, it’s largely thanks to Saxon! The band from South Yorkshire is indeed one of the figureheads of the NWOBHM. Literally translated as “new wave of British heavy metal”, this movement emerged at the end of the 70s in the United Kingdom and brought together the famous Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Def Leppard, Judas Priest… Several albums have marked the history of Saxon, and by extension that of rock in general: Wheels Of Steel (1980), Strong Arm of the Law (1980), Denim and Leather (1981), Power & the Glory (1983), Unleash the Beast (1997), Metalhead (1999)… The band has never stopped producing music. And if over the years Saxon’s music has been able to adopt more modern sounds, the band has always remained faithful to its Heavy-Metal roots. Their album Hell, Fire And Damnation, released in 2024 and crowned with success, shows this well. Filmed on June 29, 2024 at the Hellfest Open Air Festival, Clisson. ——————– |AVAILABLE UNTIL 29/06/2025] More concerts on our website : https://www.arteconcert.com
🇬🇧 Just like Scorpions, @ACCEPTTUBE is one of the essential figures of the German heavy metal scene. Its tumultuous history, marked by numerous separations and reformations, began in Solingen (West Germany) in the early 1970s. Since then, the group has continued to release hits and international tours, regularly reaching the top of the international charts. Nourished by committed lyrics, Accept’s incisive and powerful style has given birth to an impressive discography that extends from the eponymous album Accept in 1979 to Humanoid in 2024. Over the decades, the various productions of the Teutonic group have had an undeniable influence on metal heavyweights such as Metallica and Guns N’ Roses. More than fifty years after its creation, Accept’s magnetism remains intact. As proof, its effect on the Hellfest audience is clear: hordes of metalheads gathered in front of the Mainstages to cheer on these heavyweights of the genre. Wolf Hoffmann, it’s your turn! Filmed on June 29, 2024 at Hellfest, Clisson. ____________ 🇩🇪 What the Scorpions are for German Hard Rock, they are Accept for German Heavy Metal. Their moving story, which was driven by tax-rich meetings and meetings, began in the early 1970s in Solingen, NRW. Then the band had many hits, which made it through the many international tours and regularly reached the top of the international charts. The pregnant and powerful style of Accept with its committed texts has a beautifully printed discography, released in the album “Accept” from 1979 to 2024 as “Humanoid”. In the course of the century, the productions of the untamed band influenced other sizes of metal scenes such as Metallica or Guns N’ Roses. Even more than 50 years after its foundation, the acceptance requirement has been unbroken. Their performance at the Hellfest audience is the best experience: Hordes of metallers have a clear view before the main stages, to celebrate the weight of the genre. Free speech for Wolf Hoffman! It was after being fired from Metallica in 1983 that Dave Mustaine decided to create @Megadeth . He had a simple and clear goal in mind: “to see Metallica’s blood flow”, nothing less. A thirst for revenge that would give rise to some of the most beautiful pages of thrash metal. A nice twist of fate. Started in 1985 with Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good!, Megadeth’s discography now includes around fifteen albums. The latest opus from the Americans bears the sweet name of The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead! and was released in 2022. Even if a spirit of revenge has long animated Megadeth, the hatchet seems to have been buried during the joint tour of the apostles of thrash metal that are Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax (aka the Big Four of Thrash). So this is a Dave Mustaine at peace with his demons – but not peaceful for all that! – which we find on the Hellfest stage. Plug in the guitars! Filmed on June 27, 2024 at Hellfest Open Air Festival, Clisson. ____________ 🇩🇪 As Dave Mustaine 1983 broke up with Metallica, Megadeth was defeated. But there was only one thing before the eyes: “The blood of Metallica is flowing.” Irony of the Schicksals: His Rachedurst only brought about some of the beautiful experiences of Thrash Metal. Megadeth’s discography began in 1985 with “Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good!”. Today you will be 16 years old. The youngest work of the US-American company called “The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!” and was published in 2022. Of course Megadeth has been driven by Rachegelüsten for a long time, but the war effort is still being made for a joint tour of thrash metal legends Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax (aka The Big Four of Thrash). Dave Mustaine is also at the Hellfest party with his own heart – but not for long. On the brink of guitars! Shown on June 27, 2024 at Hellfest Open Air Festival, Clisson ____________ SETLIST: 00:00 Megadeth – Hellfest 2024 03:52 – The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead 08:40 – Rattlehead 12:50 – Kick the Chair 17:30 – Skin O’ My Teeth 21:12 – Tornado of Souls 26:45 – A Tout le Monde 31:39 – We’ll Be Back 36:43 – The Mechanix 41:29 – Symphony Of Destruction 45:50 – Peace Sells 53:00 – Holy Wars [AVAILABLE UNTIL 12/26/2024] More concerts on our website: https://www.arteconcert.com
